Paul Anderson ('Peaky Blinders') will star in the WWII action film 'Immortal.' Posted on 6 Jul, 2021
Paul Anderson, well known for his role in Peaky Blinders as Arthur Shelby, has been cast in the upcoming WWII action film Immortal. The film will be directed by Finnish filmmaker Jalmari Helander (Rare Exports, Big Game), and will depict the story of an ex-soldier named Aatami (Jorma Tommila) who discovers gold in the deep forests of Lapland. However, as he attempts to deliver the plunder to the city, a gang of Nazi soldiers led by a ruthless SS officer (Paul Anderson) intervenes, resulting in a gold battle. Immortal is also being produced by Petri Jokiranta under Subzero Film Entertainment, with executive producers Mike Goodridge, Gregory Ouanhon, and Antonio Salas. Outside of Nordic, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has the globe rights, while Nordisk Film has the Nordic rights. Anderson's other films include The Revenant, Hostiles, and '71.
